Special Deliveries within California, to Southern Oregon and Western Nevada
Not everyone has access to a local breeder (whether reputable or not) for their next planned four-legged family member. Not everyone has the time and/or ability to travel to select a puppy, either. NO animal (whether an 8-week old puppy or 8-year old dog) has a desire to be crated up and placed into the cargo hold of a commercial airliner.
Our litters received so much regional exposure that it seemed more demand was from 200+ miles away that within our immediate area. We were surprised to see how many inquiries we received, requesting to FLY THE NEW PUPPY across the state or even the country. After doing HOURS of research, discussing with our Veterinarian, a few other breeders and even some former airline employees, it just seemed like the wrong thing to do. We would need to choose from the following options:
As I am sure you would agree, none of the options above made any sense...they were all a compromise to the health and safety of a "forever family's" investment as well as the integrity of our operation; additionally these options (compromises) would ultimately lead to higher prices (and less value).
We needed to come up with an alternative that made sense for all parties (mainly the puppy). This is why we started offering in-person delivery services of our puppies! It's a value added service that's been well received! Here are just a handful of the benefits:

- employ a third-party courier (who knows what will happen with the puppy?)
- add multiple exclusions to the health guarantee (or withdraw it altogether)

- SIGNIFICANTLY reduced risk of exposure to illness or injury (who's excited to pick-up a sick, injured or possibly deceased animal?)
- Our Health Guarantee is clear of any third-party handling (so we can still offer it and your investment is protected)
- NO Layovers, lost baggage or lost puppies...THAT would be scary (imagine the frustration and disappointment)
- 60-minute delivery window, scheduled in advance, confirmed the day before and reconfirmed the day of (does life always go as planned?)
- Relatively similar expense or flying or 3rd party courier with a quality end result.
We're not saying our personal delivery service is the cheapest or immune to life's twists and turns (is anything?), but it works because we care!
